John Kerry, the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, on Tuesday, discussed the importance of U.S.-Chinese cooperation to address the global environment, contending that the current climate situation cannot be solved without “full engagement and commitment” from China.

Kerry met virtually from Tianjin, China, with Han Zheng, China’s vice premier, to “discuss the importance of U.S.-China cooperation in the global effort to reduce emissions and tackle the climate crisis,” according to a statement from a State Department official.

Kerry reportedly emphasized that the world can not “solve the climate crisis” without the engagement of China, noting that the world's second-largest economy produces 7 percent of all global emissions.

China should indict Kerry for crimes against humanity for trying to lower Chinese standards of living, and put a warrant out for his arrest.

_That_ would be fun to watch.

He is right, all our policies so far were mostly exporting emissions to China! Guess what, the air flows and gets them back to here.
With India and other countries adding industry, our heroic efforts are going nowhere!

But it does not matter!
The global warming is really only about control of the people and putting America down!

Lurch lives! You can tell it’s him because the “oasis” metaphor quoted in the article is incoherent. I wonder if he chatted with them about the stats Bongino was reading out yesterday that 23 of the worlds top co2-generating cities are in China, one in Russia, one in Japan.

Does this moron actually think one person in China gives a flying rip about global warming?

He might as well ask the Taliban for their help. Actually, that’s the narrative next week.

You're counting on China?
Good idea.
China will have no problems helping you impose regulations on other countries.

They’ll agree to partake in this ridiculous scheme right after they admit they unleased the Wuhan virus on the world and pay up the trillions they owe the world.

If we assumed there was a climate crisis, this might rank as the most honest statement he has made in over 50 years.

Yep.

2000-2019 Carbon Emissions:

U.S. -12% (yes, a decline over 20 years)
China +300% (now produces about twice the amount yearly as the U.S.)

Also, India now produces about 50% of the yearly carbon emissions of the U.S., a huge increase compared to 20 years ago.

Liberals are now switching to ‘per capita’ emissions as the bogey man, which allows them to continue to blame the U.S. and Western Europe and ignore the reality of who is really driving carbon emissions.

China only laughs at the deluded, self flagellating enviormentalists and traterous fools like Kerry. They fully realize that without reliable, relatively cheap electricity, there is poverty, hunger, social and political unrest. They will burn coal and anything they can find to generate electricity.

Mother Nature will “solve” the BS “current climate situation”, as has happened for the world’s past history.
