Two GOP lawmakers are urging House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to push forward a bill that would reopen the Canadian border for non-essential travel, to “revitalize American jobs and tourism.”
While the Canadian border is expected to remain closed until Sept. 21, Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) argued Wednesday that it is “past time” for Congress to take action and provide help to those who rely on cross-border business.

Actually, much of the anger is directed against True-dope, as he left approximately 1,250 Canadians and their families in Afghanistan. He pulled all CAF personnel, sent there to extricate our people, out of Afghanistan on the 27th of August, days before Biden surrendered, time that could have been used to get more people out.
Many Canadians understand that his early withdrawal was purely political, in that during an election, he did not want headlines reading that ‘several CAF personnel killed during rescue attempt in Afghanistan’. So Canadian citizenship is worth as much to True-dope as American citizenship does to XiJinBiden.
