Well my senior citizen friend, props’ is slang for respect and not props as you think literally so I didn’t diss the kid. Sometimes I forget to the geezer demographics on FR.

(BTW, since I am highly tuned to the old days….what was so offensive about “props” to you? Did you think it meant something bad? The only literal definitions I can think of are literal “stage sets” or abbreviated “propellers”.)
