I’m sure people from all over the SE will be loading up their trucks with new generators from Lowes, Home Depot, Tractor Supply etc and bringing them to Louisianan to sell at 100% profit. Happened with Katrina.

Can they even get fuel for them in LA?

Not my experience. Most people along the coast have friends and family near by. We have friends in Lake Charles which has been hit several times over the last 3 or 4 years and we've delivered fans, ac units, beer, ice, generators to be paid back when they can. Sometimes they can meet us at the state line and sometimes not. Haven't personally heard of any gouging. Even during Rita in 05, we made it up into Arkansas and people were out hustling us water, gas cans and a generator.

Well here in Arkansas bottle water is becoming scarce tonight..Kroger’s, Wal Mart, Dollar General are shipping it South. As luck to have it found a Dollar General that still had some in stock but expected to be sold out before closing..
