We need to learn from this. If someone goes to an authority and says that he is going to hurt someone, they need to be bound by law to check that person into the hospital and find out what is wrong. Any legal types here who can speculate as to what typically happens with people like this?

How long are they usually treated in the mental health facility and are they in a lock down when being treated?

I wonder what will happen when he is judged to be “cured” and released? Perhaps a member of the murdered guys family will see him one day and do the right thing and see that real justice is done.
