Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul claimed that researchers won't study the toxic livestock-deworming drug ivermectin as a potential COVID treatment because of their dislike for former President Donald Trump.
The Cincinnati Enquirer first reported on the remarks Paul made at a town hall event for 60 people held at the Cold Spring City Council chambers on August 27.
"The hatred for Trump deranged these people so much that they're unwilling to objectively study it," Paul said, per the Cincinnati Enquirer. "So someone like me that's in the middle on it, I can't tell you because they will not study ivermectin. They will not study hydroxychloroquine without the taint of their hatred for Donald Trump."
Paul told the Cincinnati Enquirer that he does not know if ivermectin works but that he will "keep an open mind."

I know of one failure. Phil Valentine.
Did he have any comorbidities? Did not look overweight.
Stopped reading at the word toxic. Every drug is toxic if you take enough of it. Even water can kill you if you drink too much.

What did HWB say, be careful of the truth. There is no money in it.
This is what qualifies for journalism today:
“...the toxic livestock-deworming drug ivermectin...”
As if you read the linked article, you would NEVER know that IVM is intended for human use as a treatment for several non COVID-19 conditions.
Just incomplete, sloppy journalism.
Not that I’m aware of. He physically looked to be in a normal weight range.
Ivermectin is toxic. To parasites.
It’s hard to buy it in the UK, because sellers are legally obliged to ask about your horse that you obviously own, and to find out if you intend to put that horse into the human food chain.
This isn’t because Ivermectin is dangerous. It isn’t - its been used by millions of people to fight parasites.
It’s just because human food is heavily regulated.
Just for record he was admitted into a hospital. Most hospitals don’t give Ivermectin. If you, your family, or your Dr want you to have it they will not allow. Once they get you in ICU you are at the the whim of the very mediocre CDC protocol. AKA Rendesivir and too weak anti inflammatory protocols.
PS and of course the CDC special Ventilator
I have enough invectermin and azthromycin on hand for 4 people ordered it from Ziverdo Kit in India, they have HCQ also I thought it was pricy HOWEVER when I received the package I could believe how many pills there were!! My doc has had me on Quercetin, Zinc, C, D3, and NAC from day one of this BS put my 91 year old mom on this also!! My mom had a small stroke in May I was very worried about the 2 of us neither vaccinated and going to the hospital the absolute worst place to be during a so called pandemic!! We both spent 4 days in that hospital with NO MASKS required in rooms!! Both came out just fine I am NOW a firm believer that boosting the immune system with supplements is the absolute way to go, my doc believes the same thing hasn’t had ONE patient that had followed the supplements faithfully get the virus NOT ONE!!!
the cult
When did Valentine take IVM? Prophylactically? On onset? Late?
What I read about him indicated he chose the supplements approach — D3, C. Saw no mention of IVM. There was speculation.
No vit D, vit C, Zinc, Ivermectin or HCQ: just some steroids and an 'antiviral' and you hope they apply the ventilator without using capillary-busting excess pressure.
Who knows how many lives could have been saved, if hospitals had just adopted the Math+ protocol?
That makes sense: Quercetin is an ionophore that helps Zinc absorbtion.
Agree 100%
It's like studies using existing medicines other than the pre-approved vaccines just don't exist.
