A slow-moving Hurricane Ida has left all of Orleans Parish customers without power due to "catastrophic transmission damage," according to Entergy New Orleans.

Like nobody thought this wouldn’t happen? I live in Florida. Hurricanes hit/threaten us constantly. We live without power during a much less than cat one, spit on ya storm for 5-7 days on a regular basis.
Generators are where it’s at plus extra petro at the start of season
