Simply zoned AG if anything. Can’t really call it an exemption since most of the State is this way. No building dept or codes, no restrictions.

The previous county we lived in had no physical addresses or 911 service. If you called, someone from the nearest city PD might answer. Mailing addresses were for and made up by USPS for mail delivery. RR 2 box 305 = Rural Route 2, mailbox #305. Ebay sellers would freak out seeing Box 305 and assume it was a PO box.

Wild, Wild West.

Had that here in my WV county until a couple of years ago.
The 911 maping ended up quite a boondoggle. Went through three maping companies over as many years before it was finalized. Even then, my Redest of Red county needed folks to call at the sheriff’s office to properly locate our abodes on their maps. RATs ain’t the only ones who come up with ways to fleece the taxpayer at every turn while screwing things up.

Best part was it cost a bundle to DMV to change the addresses on licenses, registrations and titles for vehicles, boats, trailers etc.
