Tobias Ellwood, chair of the Defence Select Committee, has told Sky News that no one "beyond the White House" could claim the Afghanistan situation as a "success".
Mr Ellwood said the humanitarian crisis, the migrant situation and the state of terrorism in the country were all apart of the legacy left behind by the West.
He says: "I don't believe anyone beyond the White House could claim this is a success.
"We have a humanitarian crisis and migrant challenge on the scale of the Second World War.
"The economy is about to collapse. And as I just touched on, terrorism is once again active in the mountains of Afghanistan… It's not just back to zero.
"It's worse than that because we've actually gifted the Taliban so much military equipment, which makes their ability to enforce their ruthless interpretation of the Sharia law all the more easier."

If any US military officer says those same words, they can be court-martialed and dishonorably discharged. But it is the truth.

It is a success for China and China’s adherents and employees in America. Chinese agents engineered it and ran it directing a fading employee running it from the White House.
