Western women are bat sh#t nuts. Maybe western men are starting to see some merit in putting a rein on women and admire the Taliban for a sense.

The culture supports bat st#t nuts at every turn. There are no common standards for personal behavior, mainly because standards marginalize the bat sh#t crazy, and we can’t have that. The rotten apples have spoiled the whole bushel. It doesn’t take going Taliban to reset things, though. It just takes restoring (somehow) the normality that existed here not that long ago, and which I am old enough to remember. People of my grandparents’ generation would be horrified to see what passes as “normal” in today’s freak show world.
I don't have to read such stories. Living in Los Angeles, I see them.
A few years back, I was at a Starbucks, and I saw a grimy man step out of the bathroom wearing a sparkly miniskirt. He giggled and smirked at me, as if daring me to say something. I'm not sure if he was homeless or just a beach bum.
In another Starbucks, some homeless black guy stripped naked. The baristas, calling him "Sir," asked him to please go outside.
I once saw a homeless black woman defecating in an alley. She grinned at me as I walked by. And I saw a well-to-do man beside his sports car one morning, pissing in the street.
I've seen homeless walk out of the supermarket, brazenly carrying stolen items, and the security guards won't stop them. I guess they were told not to provoke an incident.
I can go on. L.A. is a toilet.
