While we live in a time when many Americans will not admit it, I will: I love my country. Through good times and bad, good presidencies and bad, that love has never diminished. One generation of family member after another β from Jacob Zumwalt who served during the American Revolution to my son's 21st century service in Iraq as a bomb technician β attests to this love by voluntarily serving in uniform.
As a veteran who served for over a quarter of a century, I never thought I would say this about a commander in chief, but the terrorist bombing at the Kabul airport that claimed 40 lives, including at least 13 of our brave warriors, leaves me no choice. It is love of country and all those serving to protect her who have needlessly, callously and intentionally been put in harm's way with no rational basis for doing so that forces me now to declare: "Mr. Biden, you are not my president."

LOL! Been to Keesler a time or two way back when. And Hickam when my dad was stationed at Pearl Harbor in the mid 50’s.
Thanks for your service. Very disheartening to me to see whatβs transpired since I got out around 50 years ago. Huh? 50 years? Yikes!

Thanks and the same to you. It’s a butt stroke to the head every day to see what is happening to our Country. Like Jim’s son, my daughter kept up the military tradition by going to the Naval Academy, becoming a chopper pilot, and flying missions in Iraq. Military families know what the term means to be ‘invested’ in the Red, White, and Blue. God be with the families of the Corpsman and the Marines lost in Kabul.
“As for Dr. Jill, what I would like to see done to her by a legal authority, following due process, cannot be mentioned here or I would be banned.”
Moving to Mexico to star in a donkey show?
It ain’t me, it ain’t me
I ain’t no senator’s son.
Florida FReeper FRegards!
My folks from the past starting with the kerfuffle in the late 1700s, the troubles in the mid 1800’s, I and II and Korea, then me, then our youngest daughter, then our oldest grand daughter. So, yeah, we get it.
Just like when they tried it with Trump, I have to dispute this. I despise biden as much as any0one here, but I also believe in being fair.
To get a medical deferral, you can’t just have your family doctor write up a medical claim, it has to be verified by military doctors who don’t give a damn about daddy’s money.
This same line was tried with Trump. He was classified 1-F, which means about the same thing, we don’t want you unless it’s a dire emergency. Later the military dropped that classification altogether, told them all no thanks.
I saw a lot of claims that his doctor got him out on “bone spurs”. Nobody actually knows if it was bone spurs, we just know it was problems with his feet. And he was a star baseball player, captain of the football team at the military academy (where his parents sent him), Stories in the newspaper, “Trump wins another game” and so on.
But his problems with his feet had to be documented and verified by military doctors, not just some family doctor his parents paid well. It would also be on his records from the military academy.
I met people at the recruiting physical who were turned down because of flat feet. They almost told me no because my blood pressure was too low, I had to go run up and down 3 flights of stairs to get my blood pressure high enough to get into the navy.
I really, really hate to have to defend biden, he’s a liar, a fraud and a long time creep, but it’s the same as I did with Trump and Ihave to be fair. If he had a medical reason for not enlisting, it had to be verified by military doctors who don’t give a dammn about daddy’s money. Their point of view is that if you really do have a medical problem, the military is responsible for it for the rest of your life. Especially if it gets you hurt while on active duty.
Just like any other job, how many companies want to hire you if they already know you have cancer or a bad back? But with this job, their doctors have to verify it.
This is type of deferment is pretty standard. My son has asthma and played high school sports (cross country and soccer), but he would still not be allowed to enlist in any of the services. As far as I know, they do not give waivers into the Armed Forces if you have had asthma, because the risk is too high.
"Cadet Bone Spurs" is still big on the Twittsewer with the lying Lefites.
Understand but Biden was also a lifeguard. Swimming requires lung capacity and breath endurance. In the military or in the swimming pool having an asthmatic condition could put people at risk.
Even with a “supposed” asthmatic condition Biden has been a blow hard all his life.
Why is the 'a' the only lower case letter in the mime?
Dr. Mrs. BiteMe likely already has hubby #3 waiting on the wings.
She’s good at that.
I’m wondering how long it will be before retired military folks that write or speak critically of Biden are recalled to active duty and UCMJ charges placed against them? Just a few instances of this would tamp down a lot of criticism towards Biden.
Somebody posted a report yesterday that the military sent a memo out notifying active, reserve and retired that NO disrespect of the disaster in chief would be tolerated.
