I have gas where I live for the first time.
It’s awesome for cooking.
I’m all for varied electric generation, but GenIV nuclear doesn’t seem to be discussed much.

An underlying issue with EVs is that the same people who may be most rabid about everyone driving them are also the same people who will fight tooth and nail to prevent expanding the power grid to support them.

The mystique of EVs taps into the magical thinking of too many people, the same sort of thinking that makes socialism seem reasonable, capitalism rooted in voluntary participation seem tyrannical, and so forth.
