If reports are true, I read there is a post on social media of this guy supporting BLM and making anti-white comments. If true, they need to get out ahead of it or this will be pushed as a racial killing. I have also read that the Attorneys for the family have made accusations of racism. So maybe the social media stuff is true.

He's a police officer so he can't be sued for this. Limited liability.

I believe they sue the Department and interestingly the Department is managed by none other than Pelosi. Individual Congress critters cannot be sued in the performance of their official duties. But, the murder maybe a horse of a different color. Can Congress and Pelosi be sued?

Flip the races and the politics, and imagine it was a white cop shooting an unarmed black woman as she was trying to smash a window and enter a prohibited area during a BLM protest.

The media narrative would be completely different, the officer would get no friendly interviews, his name would have been released within hours, he would have been suspended or fired, and there would have been riots protesting the shooting.
