‘Thou shalt not kill.’
The actual biblical imperative is ‘thou salt not murder’. Killing is justified in defense of your, your family, or even a strangers life. It’s not the desire, by any means, but defensively killing someone is not the same as murdering someone.
I’m glad she feels God’s love, and I’m sure she’ll have to explain it all again to her child when they meet in Heaven.
