Wouldn't that mean the U.S. provided names and locations?
What a disaster.
With decades of hiring left leaning employees, affirmative action quota personnel, and general all around screw ups, this is no surprise. It could have been honestly expected that someone on the Government would be so pathologically ignorant to pull a stunt like this. The United States fought the Taliban for 20 years. We used conventional bombs, thermobaric bombs, tanks, helicopters, missiles, bullets of various calibers, armed drones, snipers, and direct combat with military personnel. After killing thousands of Taliban, and many of their leaders, we give them a list of people we would like to have their help with in evacuation. The people running our government, and thousands of people working for it need to be removed. But who can do it? The people won’t. What a hellish situation.
