I think the Biden administration is obsessing over the vaccination rates and rushed the approval of an unavailable vaccine to give them cover to force the use of the emergency vaccine in its place.

They are grubering the news and relying on the stupidity of the voters to get people vaccinated to make Biden look good by meeting his target.

I am utterly amazed at how many Freepers trust the Biden administration.

They are not Freepers. They are rejects from the Democrat Underground.

There is a legal distinction here. Legally there are two different product although they are identical in composition: 1) the Pfizer vaccine that is under a Emergency Use Authorization, and 2) the licensed COMIRNATY vaccine that is FDA approved. Although they are identical products, legally if you are vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine you cannot sue for any adverse effects since it is administered under a EUA. You will only be able to sue for adverse effects if you are vaccinated with the FDA approved COMIRNATY vaccine, but this is not yet available. Thus the FDA can say that the form of the vaccine has been approved and yet still shield Pfizer from product liability lawsuits.

If something isn’t “available yet”. Then how can it be approved?

you trust the Biden administration

No. I didn't trust the FDA, CDC, WHO etc even when it was a Trump admin and I'm not big on stupid high school level word play so don't bother calling it the Trump vaccine either.

I have no intention of taking the jab and have the Ivermectin horse paste "as a dewormer" dosage converted to human dosage as either a covid preventative or as a treatment on my profile page.

I'm just saying that the FDA is the approving body for drugs and vaxxes and if they say it's FDA approved, it's FDA approved. That is the silly argument going on here, that FDA saying it's FDA approved is not real. They are the authority having jurisdiction. If they say they approved it, they approved it.

It's just that a few right leaning news blogs can't understand the language of the FDA's announcement and want to try and play the gotcha game for clicks and naive conservatives fall for it every time. That and people who've become irrelevant like Bannon and Malone, are trying to make a living any way they can. Dr Malone says he contracts for the US government but has been working full time doing podcasts and video interviews so I have a feeling he has no real job at this point.

Again, if the FDA says it's FDA approved, it's FDA approved, period. If some people can't understand the FDA wording, that changes nothing. Fedgov, businesses and some states are going with it. That's just the reality.

Freerepublic has never been more divided and warped than over the vaccine issue and Covid in general. There is a bottom line and that there is something terribly wrong with all of this. Simply put,if Trump was in a second term,NONE of this would be happening......NONE. It doesn’t change my feeling about getting jabbed but the truth and transparency makes life easier.

Look up the PREP Act.

Under a medical emergency, vax companies cannot be sued. I do believe Trump declared a medical emergency so he could do things like stop travel from certain countries and I doubt that emergency declaration has been rescinded.

I don’t have to worry about being able to sue because I have no intention of getting it.

OMG….is this saying that there are TWO Pfizer vaccines?

The EUA from last year, and something new? “BNT162B2” vs “COMIRNATY”?

If so this is completely misleading.

Some people lack the reading comprehension skills to understand the FDA’s wording. I’ve explained it a few times but I’m done with trying to convince thick headed people.

If the FDA says it’s FDA approved, then it’s FDA approved and if that’s good enough for fedgov, CDC, businesses and some state health depts, that’s all that matters.

What some right leaning blog or unemployed Dr or podcast personality trying to remain relevant says means nothing.

You would think people would have figured that out in the past 4-5 years.

Who’s in jail?
Who’s in power?

From the Pfizer EUA product Patient Consent Form:

“ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS (INITIAL EACH STATEMENT):
....
The recipient or their caregiver has the option to accept or refuse Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine.”

http://www.co.fannin.tx.us/upload/page/10318/docs/Pfizer/Pfizer%20Consent%20Form%20-%20Fillable.pdf

Those under a DoD or other employer mandate can’t get the EUA vaccine product without lying.

They are going to ship the approved product to make the mandates work and also try to get rid of the older product to people that have an still have the option to get it.

Holy merde. Check this out...

https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/08/04/2021-16681/eighth-amendment-to-declaration-under-the-public-readiness-and-emergency-preparedness-act-for

“...added a third method of distribution to provide liability protections for, among other things, private distribution channels; made explicit that there can be situations where not administering a covered countermeasure to a particular individual can fall within the PREP Act and the Declaration’s liability protections...”

Does that mean what I think it means?!

To tie in with what Barnes Law said, my question is:

If they approved the Pfizer, and not Moderna and J&J, does that mean they can’t use Moderna and J&J?

And does the EUA for Moderna and J&J negate using the Pfizer?
