The Secret Service warned Capitol Police about threats of violence on Jan. 5, one day before rioters descended on the Capitol complex and injured a number of officers, according to newly revealed documents.
One day before the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, the Secret Service, from the Protective Intelligence Operations Center’s (PIOC) account, sent an email to a recipient associated with the Capitol Police informing it of a tip sent in by a “concerned citizen” at the Denver Field Office regarding people who were flying to the Washington, D.C., area to “attend tomorrow’s rally and ‘incite violence.’”

Interesting that every one of those cited posts specified “the 6th” so as to be as specific as possible when providing incriminating evidence.
To answer your question, I don’t think anyone writes like this. It’s kind of like how those who confessed to rioting on Jan 6 all said they were “following Trump’s orders.”
More horseshit to counter the FBI’s recent findings of “scant evidence of” plotting, planning, whatever.
I think this story is pure b.s. I did not know anyone was targeting the Capitol Police prior to Jan. 6. Why would they? Seems like this was concocted after that date.
Sounds Like!?!
Just to clear something up... The DC police and the Capitol Police are two separate police forces. The DC police, also known as the Metropolitan Police Department, work for the DC city mayor, while the Capitol Police are a FEDERAL police force who work for the House Speaker.
They all work for the democrats though.
Absolutely...
“We’ve identified numerous grandmas with extreme selfie tendencies.”
Even though the Washington, DC police, and the Capitol Police may work for the democrats, why would anyone be mad at them either before, or after Jan. 6?
This story stinks, it is so phony! I could easily have concocted a more believable story.
Interesting they are talking about DC police instead of Capitol police.
Did anyone tell Trump about this?
#1. I agree. The “posts” sound too “pat” and ridiculous at that.
Only a handful of people from the west came to DC and were arrested for both possible and real violence. They were nuts and deserve jail time. A few might have been agent provocateurs.
DC Police Intelligence isn’t what it used to be (I worked with them on a few things). They were wrecked by leftist/communist lawsuits and the fact that Mayor Marion Barry was a protected drug user, woman abuser, political corrupt and neo-Marxist political opportunist”.
If the DC Police had really been in the “intelligence loop”, they, the Capital Police, FBI, Secret Service, and the MDW (Military District of Washington intelligence unit) would have known long ago about out-of-town rioters.
Hell, the FBI didn’t even know about Antifa in DC, Portland, Seattle, etc. or else there would have been a shitload of arrests by now using facial identification techniques which they have used “so successfully” and conveniently against nearly everyone who was at the Capital building protest.
I also worked with the FBI as well as worked with their documents while on an Organized Crime Task Force and a major internal security case. They were professionals back then. Today, they are led by Inspector “Wray” Clouseau and too many “Keystone Kops” types. No wonder our cities are burning, even if they are mostly “peaceful burnings”.
[PS> Law enforcement and national intelligence work has been in our family since WW2 and some of our fathers were alive because of it].
You are correct, however, the story further stinks because the supposed rant message was about the DC police, not the Capitol police, which was the so-called “target” actually “confronted” on January 6th.
The whole message thing is a put on.
The Secret Service churns out dozens of warnings everyday from its Department of Welfare and Security, staffed by 250 affirmative action employees. Its most notable warning from last week was to floss between meals. The week before that, the department warned everyone to clean the litter box once each day.
