The light was fading on what had been a breezy 101-degree afternoon by the time the two women with clipboards approached Ashley Reyes, who sat watching her son and his cousins play in her gated driveway.

I saw this scene and many similar ones play out this month when I tagged along with Karen Diaz, 27, and Tanairy Guzman Reyes, 22, as they knocked on doors in Palmdale, a city north of Los Angeles. They were hoping to bolster support for Gov. Gavin Newsom as he faces an attempt to recall him from office.
Edgar Robleto, 62, who spoke with Diaz and Guzman Reyes through a metal screen door, said he wanted Newsom “gone.” Pandemic restrictions, he said, were “overboard,” and he’d lost work as a bus operator.

Californians don’t know that air is necessary to breath.
Most Californians are on auto-pilot with regards to politics.
Mail in voting especially with these ballots, there are holes in the envelope which reveal if you voted “YES” so if you hand them to your mailman expect them to be thrown out
I think that depends on the county.
San Diego County did not have the holes placed where you can see.
Tell them all it is 9/21 or even in November so they shouldn’t worry about it.

Orange County where my brother lives didnt have the holes either..I think its only LA County
We will be bringing ours to a drop off box

Don't! I work with a local GOP committee and they have confirmed that drop off boxes are often compromised by ballot harvesters. Drop them off at your local registrar of voters (ROV) or better yet, vote at your local polling place.
Not sure where the registrar of voters is around me but did find the closest in person voting center its at beverly hills city hall so will probably go there
I am in Ventura County(Ronald Reagan Library and RR Freeway) and I dropped off my ballot at drop box 2 days ago and I received e-mail today saying my ballot was received at Registar office.
I am the only person in the house who didn’t get a ballot.
I’ll grab one next week though....
Polling in person is also just as good.
