Pretty sure Fatima is a Muslim name, made famous by the Fatima, Portugal, apparitions in 1917. Now Catholics use it too. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
Actually, I know of one immigrant from Angola whose daughter’s name is Fatima. She was probably named after the village in Portugal where six Marian apparitions in 1917 are said to have happened.
Fatimah al-Zahra was Muhammad’s daughter.
Are we allowed to ask why “Fatima” is in Afghanistan? With “children” in the US? Big long story with four authors, but left unsaid.

So the media has finally found a trapped American, an accented woman who calls herself Fatima. She could be in Kansas for all I know. Don’t be manipulated
I remember reading a short story by Kipling of two English women from Afghanistan who turned up in India.
They were English women, left behind in the disastrous British withdrawal in 1842.
Forced to marry Afghan warriors they were now so integrated in their society they later returned to Afghanistan after letting the British know they had been left behind.
Wonder how many will show up in the next 20 or 30 years who were left behind by BIDEN!
