House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff [D-CA] said it was “very unlikely” that the U.S. completes its evacuation of Afghanistan by the Aug. 31 deadline.
“I think it’s possible but I think it’s very unlikely given the number of Americans who still need to be evacuated,” Schiff told reporters outside of The Capitol on Monday. “It’s hard for me to imagine that all of that can be accomplished between now and the end of the month.
“I am encouraged to see the numbers of people evacuated increasing readily to the point where we evacuated 11,000 people in a single day. Nonetheless given the logistical difficulties of moving people to the airport and the limited number of workarounds it’s hard for me to see that could be fully complete by the end of the month,” Schiff said.

There are three factors at play here:
1. This is the same force that was able to feed Berlin for 323 days when it was blockaded. If you said there were 5,000 Americans in Kabul....every single one of them could be removed in a 24-hour period. I don’t think a single Air Force planner would argue with that.
2. To this date, the embassy staff cannot give a number of how many Americans are in the country. There might be 500...there might be 10,000.
3. The only demonstration I’ve seen in the past two weeks is a full tested situation of competence. On a scale of one to ten...I’d give all of these characters a minus-10. This goes beyond Biden/Harris.

The Taliban has put a line in the sand, saying America must be out before 1 September. Biden says now it can’t be done.
I guess Joe thinks the Taliban will be as malleable as American media, and say “Oh, OK...”

Really, it’s that there is too much money and treasure to launder for enrichment of the Benghazi Political Class, than can possibly clear before 8/31/21. Good prices for good toys. 50% skim on billions yet to be laundered.
Just preparing us for the fact that there won’t be enough taxpayer provided money to feed all the Democrat pigs at the trough because we have to pay more ransom to the Taliban pigs.
They are saying over 30k have been evacuated since July. How many of that 30k are actual AMERICANS? Notice the picture above. I'm assuming this is the typical group you will see boarding the many number of planes that arrive every day. How many of this group are Americans? 10% No way!! 5% Nope. 1% not likely. .5% possibly.
The CIA director met with the Taiban terrorists. Anyone care to speculate just how much cash was offered to extend that date. Perhaps the Taliban are charging landing and take off “fees” for every plane that lands and takes off from the Kabul airport. Perhaps Sciff will explain just how those 6,000 brave young Maines and soldiers will be safely withdrawn. If they left behind their generals and the CIA director, would not care.
Have they even reported on how many AMERICANS they actually evacuated from Afghanistan so far? I haven’t seen any numbers and trust me I am looking.
The Taliban’s words have a very specific and ominous message: if you stay longer than 8/31, we will take it as an act of war. From the perspective of national sovereignty, superpowers like Russia and China will stand behind Afghanistan for “protecting themselves” (with American ordinance) because the Taliban “warned us.”
Wait and see...
No. I suspect that if they were open about it...for each American brought out via US cargo planes....there’s probably one to two Europeans, and at least ten Afghans. So the math would beg questions over the reason for the ‘rescue’ or airlift.
