I think you’re much better off with a brief claim of a religious (or possibly medical) exemption than to send this letter. This letter would probably be Exhibit A in the hearing to deny your unemployment benefits because they had good cause to fire you.
Re: 39 - Agreed 100%. The sample letter is too long and is patronizing in some sections. I can’t think of a better way to get the attention of HR and not in a good way.
People’s deeply held religious beliefs need to come from that person and not from this letter. This letter will not yield the hoped for results, I’m afraid.
The purpose of the letter is to avoid the unemployment hearing -- the strength and length of it is to deter the bosses flat out first hand ... a sorta make them pee their pants move.
