A groundbreaking preprint paper by the prestigious Oxford University Clinical Research Group, published Aug. 10 in The Lancet, includes alarming findings devastating to the COVID vaccine rollout.
The study found vaccinated individuals carry 251 times the load of COVID-19 viruses in their nostrils compared to the unvaccinated.
While moderating the symptoms of infection, the jab allows vaccinated individuals to carry unusually high viral loads without becoming ill at first, potentially transforming them into presymptomatic superspreaders.
This phenomenon may be the source of the shocking post-vaccination surges in heavily vaccinated populations globally.
The paper’s authors, Chau et al, demonstrated widespread vaccine failure and transmission under tightly controlled circumstances in a hospital lockdown in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.
The scientists studied healthcare workers who were unable to leave the hospital for two weeks. The data showed that fully vaccinated workers — about two months after injection with the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine (AZD1222) — acquired, carried and presumably transmitted the Delta variant to their vaccinated colleagues.
They almost certainly also passed the Delta infection to susceptible unvaccinated people, including their patients. Sequencing of strains confirmed the workers transmitted SARS-CoV-2 to one another. ..

I am all too aware of the bias, but we are in a war and misleading statements will be seized upon to invalidate valid positions. Just because one is on the right side does not not validate inaccuracies. That is not how you defeat a foe.

I would think that Patrick Reed would have definitely been vaccinated. So if not covid, maybe the vaccine made him more susceptible to something else that is causing the pneumonia?

What everyone seems to be missing, is that the all-double-jabbed healthworkers seem to have been spreading this little gem exclusively among themselves...if I remember right from reading the article last week, before this thread.

What the nasal spray does is stop the virus from replicating in the upper respiratory system which greatly reduces transmissibility. This would be true for both unvaccinated and breakthrough cases.
The Indian variant, because it replicates so much faster than earlier strains first takes up a home in the nasal passages before spreading to the lungs then other organs. The vaccine antibodies work well to prevent serious disease in the lungs and elsewhere but work too slowly in the mucous membranes initially to stop transmission effectively.
This is an important product and I wish we had a President to give the FDA a kick in the pants and get this product approved.

A simple look at the numbers says that with 69 staff infected out of 900 staff is a 7.6% infection rate in studied hospital. We know that delta is extremely infectious.

And there’s the quote from the study you already saw, that of the 69 infected, none had severe disease or died. A viral load of 251 vs up to 1200 sounds better also. I call all that worthwhile efficacy. YMMV, but if I was still practicing, I’d recommend it to my patients.

If I remember right, genetic testing on the samples taken from the Vietnamese staff, showed that there was no commonality between the strain they had, and the one prevalent in the exterior-to-the-hospital community.
Which means the double jabbed can produce and spread variants among one another, without any help from the unjabbbed.
Severity of illness is in this case not a problem: but it does not follow as a logical syllogism that severe illness can therefore be called "impossible".
The tricky part is that virology says that one does not attempt to vaccinate in the middle of a pandemic, lest it apply selection pressure and help to drive the emergence of new variants. *cough* (No, wait, don't intubate me, it was only a *rhetorical* cough!)

That is, if the strain is infectious as hell but only gives you hay fever unless you have diabetes, are morbidly obese, yada yada, there is no need to isolate or jab all of society.
