A New York resident died on Sunday morning shortly after receiving the COVID vaccine, but state health officials maintain that “the vaccine is safe,” the New York Post reported.
The elderly man, who was in his 70s, collapsed about 25 minutes after being administered the COVID vaccine as he left the Jacob Javits Convention Center vaccination site in Manhattan, Dr. Howard Zucker, the New York state health commissioner, said in a statement obtained by the Post.
The statement from Zucker also suggested “the man did not have any allergic reaction to the vaccine,” as no adverse effects or signs of distress were observed during the 15-minute observation period following his inoculation.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention maintains that severe adverse reactions to the COVID vaccine occur “rarely,” saying the chance of this happening is 10 cases in over 4 million first doses of the drug.
Zucker said in the statement to the New York Post that first responders assisted the man “within seconds,” but he later died at a nearby hospital. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
Despite the death, Zucker said, he encourages, “All eligible New Yorkers to get vaccinated.”
He added: “Public health experts agree, the vaccine is safe, and together with continued vigilance including wearing a mask and social distancing, it will bring an end to this pandemic.”

And this story will never see the light of day. Only the sad sack stories of unvaxed people on their death beds begging and pleading for another chance to get the experimental shot.
He didn’t die for 25 minutes after the injection so the vaccine was safe and effective for 25 minutes. After that...well, not so much.
If I was directing a movie, that’s how someone would die from a plague.

Dr. Howard Zucker, the New York state health commissioner, is the one that approved with Cuomo putting elderly covid patients back into the nursing homes.
So I don’t think I’ll take advice from him thank you.

Did he vote against either of the Clintons? If so, he may have been on their death list. I have known plenty of people, including elderly folks in their 80s to 100s that have died since their refusal to vote for a Clinton. There is obviously something up with that.

I live in very liberal Marin County and I learn to be severely anti-backs from some old Crohn’s who are midwives in the 1980s who knew the entire history of the vaccine industry and how evil it is and taught it to me

A poster on Conservative Treehouse said her son is an EMT in FL. Some nursing homes are requiring an EMT be present when giving the shots .... he watched a seemingly healthy, active older woman get the shot & stroke out 10 minutes later. Nah ... nothing to see here folks, move along.

Yeah...it’s mostly safe...except when it’s not. Guy didn’t even have time to regret he got the shot. That is indeed a troubling report.

Honest question: does this happen with other vaxes? Anything from important Serious-disease shots to flu shots? I’m sure it happens sometimes but are we just seeing stories on COVID vaxes? While maybe someone dropping dead from a flu vax gets no story?
