The Taliban have sentenced the brother of an Afghan translator to death, according to letters obtained by CNN, accusing him of helping the US and providing security to his brother, who served as an interpreter to American troops.

I’m sorry but I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot of this stuff - much of it phony. Is this instant one phony? Who knows.
A ‘kinder, gentler’ kind of Taliban. At least they wrote letters..............
I've been reading about Taliban atrocities on MSM news sites that are notable in their total absence of video evidence, relying only on hearsay.
Even if some of these stories are fictitious we do know that the Taliban hasn’t changed their agenda nor their cruel and violent practices so these cruelties, they are well known for, will surely be and continue under Shariah Law.
Jennifer Griffin received call from someone she worked with. He was sent a video of the execution of his Lt. in Afgsn army. Griffin said it was too horrific to be shown on television.
JDAMs on every Taliban concentraion, HQs or political gathering. There is no excuse for this inhumanity. I am not advocating that we ever again attempt to govern Afghanistan - we never should have gotten in the idiotic neo-con nation-building exercise. But making life hell for the inhumane Taliban is a very different matter and easily executed.
I've noticed were seeing the definition of Afghans that need to be brought to America as refugees change from "Afghans who are at risk because they provided assistance to the U.S. military" to "Afghans who are at risk."
Just yesterday an article highlighted the need for translators to provide assistance to a planeload of Afghans who arrived in Virginia. I thought, "Wait, aren't these guys all supposed to be translators themselves?"
“ Understanding that there’s an effort to sway American opinion into permitting millions of Afghans to immigrate here, I take all of this stuff with a great deal of skepticism.

Good catch. And that’s something a bulldog media would investigate. But of course we no longer have a bulldog media.
Atta boy, Joe! Well done, Milley!
The Taliban were the guys who trained al Qaeda and and set up the world wide network of Jihadi sleeper cells that recruited and trained much of the foreign ISIS Jihadi.
Atrocity, intimidation and torture are their signature of Jihadi domination to force submission. They treated captured Yidzi sex slaves so badly that many of these women freely choose to be burned alive rather than submit to the ISIS rapists
Don't think things are going to be different this time around. The bad stuff happens when the foreign Jihadi return to Afghanistan
Biden said they were keeping their word, and son-of-a-gun, they are.
I wish the American press would stop Anglicizing the name of the terrorist organization. The proper spelling is Tlaiban as in Rashida Tlaib not Taliban.
The brother’s neighbor’s third cousin once removed wives’ burka maker may be next on the list.
Did you watch Lara Logan last night ?
Just beginning.

In the words of GWB - “The Religion of Peace!”
I’m a little bit unclear on exactly why it is, that we are responsible for these people. They are Afghans. Any intelligence or assistance they might have given us was not done because they love the US, but in support of their own people. We should have provided them arms and ammo so they can operate as guerrillas or to generally strike at the taliban. Seems to me, they have a job to do in their own country, rather than hiding in ours.
