Because he periodically needs her vote, such as when the next 2 votes come up on the 3.5 trillion “green” deal to be voted on, as well as the voter election bill. The Pubs have to hold the whole Pub coalition together so none of the RINO’s vote with the Dems on this, as they can and probably have threatened to do, which is why the Pubs allowed the infrastructure bill to be passed with RINO help in the Senate in order to not have them vote the same on the 2 upcoming more important bills. They are hoping that Manchin and the other moderate lady whose name I can’t remember will vote against them.
All the Pubs plus these two would stop these bills, but the price was that the Pubs had to go along with the infrastructure bill in order to keep Manchin & Co. on their side. We’ll see if that gambit works when we see how Manchin & Co. votes on the upcoming 2 bills. It appears that Manchin has been bought off with a plum thrown to his wife by Biden.
So he will be the Benedict Arnold of history and sell out his country. He will have to live for the rest of his life with the designation of a traitor to his country by allowing it to become a socialist’s paradise and his name will live in infamy, but that might not be enough to stop him from selling out.

No, McCarthy acts the way he does because the GOP donor class agrees with Lizard. That is who McCarthy represents and not us. MTG has a vote, too. But apparently McCarthy doesn’t need her vote.
