“Why hasn’t McCarthy kicked her out of the GOP.”

Because he periodically needs her vote, such as when the next 2 votes come up on the 3.5 trillion “green” deal to be voted on, as well as the voter election bill. The Pubs have to hold the whole Pub coalition together so none of the RINO’s vote with the Dems on this, as they can and probably have threatened to do, which is why the Pubs allowed the infrastructure bill to be passed with RINO help in the Senate in order to not have them vote the same on the 2 upcoming more important bills. They are hoping that Manchin and the other moderate lady whose name I can’t remember will vote against them.

No, McCarthy acts the way he does because the GOP donor class agrees with Lizard. That is who McCarthy represents and not us. MTG has a vote, too. But apparently McCarthy doesn’t need her vote.

You can believe whatever you want about McCarthy’s inner motives, and you are probably right on much of it. However, it doesn’t negate the basic fact that McCarthy is Minority Leader of the Pubs, he must count votes and needs all of them on crucial bills that come before the House.

McCarthy maintains regular phone contact with Trump and Trump continues to support McCarthy, warts and all, because he politically needs him to help shape bills, speeches and votes that take place in the House. Plus it is necessary to keep donor dollars coming in for Pub candidates in campaigns for the House. Trump considers McCarthy an ally of necessity, knowing McCarthy isn’t his best bud, but Trump is a practical sort that doesn’t stoop to emotionalism in order to get things done.

McCarthy for the most part does have MTG’s vote. She may not be a choice to be on Committees, but she still votes on all bills before the House. McCarthy was pressured into keeping her off committees by a lot of bad press and various comments she had made in her past, and throwing her off of committees to minimize the vicious Dem/MSM campaign against her, stunk big-time. However, she still votes on all issues and she is actually very free to speak out even more than had she been on some obscure committee. It sure raised her profile to the public. When the Pubs are back in power in the House, she will get committee assignments once again. Mark my words.

Back to McCarthy, he’s the Pub House Leader right now; if Trump gets back in the White House, it will be interesting to see how he finesses McCarthy at that point.

You forget, don’t you, that McCarthy & Company ousted Liz from her House leadership role, so Liz got das boot just as MTG did. Tit for tat.
