It wasn’t June that was so hot, it was July. The actual temps spike to what we have every summer, but this time it just didn’t go back down until middle of last week. Rain at last! Sweet...
In my opinion, that area is WAY AHEAD of the rest of the country in FRAUD ELECTIONS.
It was some time ago when there was an election for governor, so long ago I don’t remember Washington or Oregon, but what I DO REMEMBER is the first time I heard of ballots “being found” and the person I wanted to win lost.
I recall thinking it so strange...missing ballots.
The loser’s last name was ROSSI, I believe and I wanted him to win cause he was Italian. How silly of me.
Oh, Rossi was the Republican.
Surprise.
Global warming is keeping it in the PNW. Sorry.
We are in ENSO neutral leaning to go back into La Nina this fall.
The heat wave was real and scary only to the trolls who have snuck onto FR. And don’t trust the communists reading thermometers in those states.
My recollections correspond to yours 100%. June is usually a relatively cool month with temps in the 60s and (occasionally) low 70s. It usually warms up shortly after the 4th of July to the mid-70s, with an occasional day in the 80s. Temps in the 90s are rare (none in some years), and temps over 100 have only occurred a handful of times in my life, maybe half a dozen days in 60 years, of which three or four were this year.
My Brother and I used to sleep out every day it was hot or dry. Like I said, there was hardly ever a night where the damp didn’t get the sleeping bags and pillows damp. There would be hot days, especially in the late 60’s. My Uncle from Tillamook was shut down from logging in Oregon, and he came up to work on sewer line projects. From the Oregon coast to the Washington coast, it was similar to this year. It was noteworthy then and this year.
