America is still the land of opportunity but it is far from free. In fact I actually heard an interview with a guy who interviewed a bunch of people who graduated and became citizens. And what I said at the first sentence is actually one of those people said. He wanted to be an American because of the opportunity, yet he considered America to be one of the least free countries in the Western world.
I heard Mark Levin say, compared to life in Revolutionary times, in many ways we are less free now. So much more than taxation without representation.
