I heard Mark Levin say, compared to life in Revolutionary times, in many ways we are less free now. So much more than taxation without representation.
No question. And with cameras EVERYWHERE (even on your phone and TV) you are always being tracked. And cops can go “back in time” to solve crimes. That is, they can pull up archived info, from video, to phone records, to DNA samples. That’s why that old answer to “hoe many kids do you have”, “None that I know of” no longer holds water.
That’s how my wife found the baby she gave up for adoption at age 17 in 1970. In fact, she is literally on the phone with him right now. He put his DNA into one of those services about three years ago and my wife’s sister had done the same. All the usual suspects came up in the results - except the one guy.
The days of anonymity are over. Anything can be “found out”. Even decades later. And that means if you used the N word once in high school, the world knows.
Funny story: I was mentioning on a liberal forum how stupid it was to try to ding Kavanaugh for allegedly “trying to feel up a girl at a high school party.” It is ancient and, let’s be frank, who didn’t try or at least wished he had the opportunity.
Their respons, I kid you not: We hold SCOTUS judges to a higher standard. Sorry, but the only guy that’s going to pass that test doesn’t want the job, and though he is alive to take it, he was hung on a cross 2,000 years ago.
