I find this (the use of the word ‘over-simplified’ problematical in this kind of context. And I’m not accusing you nor the author of anything. Not even of over-simplifying your over-simplification.
What the hell is wrong with a simple explanation of some phenomenon? Is this rejection of ‘simple’ something we have learned; perhaps by some sort of conditioning? Do we need Harvard and Yale professors to develop complex, uber-nuanced theories? Otherwise we are unsophisticated rubes, marked by our embrace of ‘simple’? Do (or don’t) we see that time and time again, the development of these so-called sophisticated theories is nothing but self-adulation, another way for libs to place themselves on that pedestal of superiority....just as they do with morality? It’s their greater good (that you and I don’t get) that killed the tens of millions of people this last century. It’s their embrace of global warming, again, that you and I cannot or refuse to understand, that places them on the superior, more sophisticated pedestal. It’s CRT that places them on the higher pedestal of human understanding that makes you and I the racists. Not just the racists, the dumb racists.
No; the over-simplifications are the endless parade of liberal bumper-stickerisms; “standing up for the little guy”... “making sure that every vote counts”...”making sure every child gets a proper education”...”working to assure inclusivity” of everyone, of every class, everywhere. This makes them the saviors of mankind, and you and I the bigots. If only we were as sophisticated as they obviously are, there’s no way we’d hold our views. We’re just too stupid to comprehend the nuances, we’re lucky they let us live instead of turning us into organic garden fertilizer, which would be a better use for us rubes. Up until the Afghani Event, I thought DeSantis was the answer for the Nation in 20224. The Event changed everything. Now I think Trump will run, will win very convinvcingly and will go about expunging any and all odors of the godawful Bidet disgrace. I’m not sure if this will happen soon or if Bidet will be impeached or allowed to finish his term. I’m guessing sooner rather than in 2024.
Also, Trumo will be term limited, no reason to keep any powder dry, let it all rip, use every available weapon!

Trump’s real unforgivable sin in the eyes of the Establishment was he showed everybody how corrupt and incompetent they are.
That’s it in a nutshell. The entire foreign policy establishment told him he could not move the embassy to Jerusalem as every American president starting with Clinton had promised. It would be a catastrophe they all said. He did it anyway. It was fine. Nothing happened. They were just flat out WRONG.
The same foreign policy establishment said allowing the PLA/Hamas to hold our foreign policy in the Middle East hostage was the only path to peace. Trump simply ignored them once again and brokered 5 peace treaties between Israel and various Arab states - and it would have been more had the election not been stolen. Those were the first peace and recognition treaties since Jordan in the 1990s and Egypt in the 1970s before that.
They said you couldn’t build a wall and it wouldn’t work. He did and it was working.
They said you couldn’t renegotiate foreign giveaway trade deals. He ignored them and did so successfully with Canada/Mexico and with South Korea and was making headway with the EU (he already got them to agree to lower their tariff on cars from the US to match US tariffs on European cars).
etc etc. He repeatedly ignored the Washington Establishment including the corporate media and RINOs as well as Democrats and he was repeatedly proven correct. He also proved you CAN keep your campaign promises. All the politicians who routinely said one thing on the campaign trail and then did another once in office were simply liars.
This the Establishment cannot forgive.
