Trump did a LOT more. He spoke to the press every time he went on the helicopter, outside, or just waiting for something.

Yes. And I don’t blame Trump for limiting his press conferences. His enemies in the media lied and distorted his remarks.
When they weren’t being rude jerks yelling crap at him while he was speaking.
