As an off-topic and very broad general comment, I will say that we have a narcissistic society in which it seem very important that “everyone” be talking about ME.

The “influencers” on YouTube or TikTok — their whole approach seems to be “You care about what I’m thinking; you care about what I’m doing; you care about what I’m wearing” and I’m thinking “I don’t care at all” but a lot of young people seems to care and also seem to want to be “Influencers” so that everyone will care about them.

Seems like a lot of lonely people out there. Emotionally needy people who want to star in their own personal show: “Everybody’s Talking about ClearCase_guy”.

Except a lot of these 'influencers' seem to want people to care about how they don't care what anyone thinks... which is ironic.
