Please don’t call them Jews either. True Jews, like true Christians, vote Trump!

Larry David knows who he can and can’t yell at.

He was also an unsuccessful writer on
Saturday Night Live for one year.
He once quit SNL in a huff after they pulled his sketch at the last second. He later regretted quitting, so [the real-life inspiration for] Kramer told him to go back in and pretend nothing had happened. So he did, and Dick Ebersol didn't say anything. I still think only one of his sketches made air the entire time he was there.

I guess the Islamists didn’t get Larry David yet...
Well there are more on the way....

I thought David was one of the main writers for “Fridays”.

He was a writer and a cast member on Fridays, but it didn't do him any good on SNL.
To: nickcarraway
Fridays was a better show than SNL in those days.

Alan, you may be a liberal, but your friend is apparently a feral leftist. Better you found out now rather than later, when he would by trying to put you on a choo choo train.

It’s all in the denouement. That was a very well written episode. Good show.

But defending the child molester and blackmailing Mossad agent Epstein, while accepting the occasional services of an underage masseuse? Just fine!

Most people probably didn't - he only got one sketch on for that 1984/85 season.
But that was the year Julia Louis-Dreyfus was on the show, so he brought her to Seinfeld, like he brought Michael Richards from Fridays.
If you watch the Gumby sketch in the deli, with elderly Billy Crystal and Martin Short, you can see David in the background as an extra:
Gumby: Broadway Gumby Rose - SNL (Most visible starting at 2:28 when Eddie Murphy comes in.)

Most actors and actresses are idiots. That’s why they act. They are no good at anything else.
