So-called “Squad” member Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) reportedly shows thousands of dollars in rental income with her husband in her financial disclosure forms, despite being a cosponsor of the “cancel rent” bill.
Pressley’s annual financial disclosure, which every member files, shows she and her husband made up to $15,000 from rent, according to a report from Fox News. Her disclosure is from last year as the Chinese coronavirus was sweeping through the country.

No, not hypocrisy. They just are tired of dealing with individual renters and want the government to take over the payments. I.e. All the income but none of the problems that come with renters.
Being a hypocrite is just a feature of being a leftist.
$15K in yearly rental income is $1250/month.
Even IF this is after deductions. It is virtually nothing.
It sounds like they have a 1 bedroom or studio apartment they rent.
This isn’t hypocrisy and it is less problematic that she is a landlord in this case than if she were a mere renter.
I don’t quite understand how this is hypocritical unless the rules she’s promoting exclude her particular renters.
She’s still an idiot - I just don’t think she’s a hypocrite on this point?
Shouldn’t she be living by
Luke 3:11
He answered them, saying, “Whoever has two coats, let him give to the one who has none; and whoever has food, let him do the same.”
Then they say you’re a cheapskate and not a Christian if you don’t let the government grab money in taxes to “give” to the “poor” meaning Dem redistribution to lazy BLM types who don’t work and want taxpayer money.
That's not a whole heck of a lot of money. Sounds like one of them rented out their townhouse or apartment after they got married and bought a house for both of them. And at $1250 per month, it's probably not in big-ticket DC. The taxes on it would be up to $3000 in addition to insurance, possible HOA fees and upkeep.
Not excusing the hypocrisy, but haven't they got bigger fish to fry?
Not a question of rules.
What kind of properties does she own? Are her properties Section 8?
If so, what kind of shape are they in? Are the tenants living in squalor like most Section 8 or are the places being kept nice?
If they are Section 8, then the person paying the bills is Uncle Sam and the folks living there don’t have to pay much of anything, if anything at all.
If all of that holds true, yet another Democrat getting rich off the taxpayer.
She owns a two family house. She rents out on floor. Very common in Boston.
They scream and collect
