A top Alabama health official this week announced that the state has more intensive care patients than ICU beds to care for them.
Alabama Hospital Association President Don Williamson told an NBC News affiliate station in Montgomery on Tuesday that the state hospital system is facing a “negative” number of available ICU beds.
“We’ve never been here before. We are in truly now in uncharted territory in terms of our ICU bed capacity,” Williamson said.

How many are being used for black on black crime victims ?

How many are vaxed?
Predictably smug user comments for “The Hill” about stupid Red State voters. Wait until we shift into the Fall and people in Northern states spend more time indoors.
They ccould treat CCPVirus patients early with any one of half a dozen therapeutic drugs that will stop it in its’ tracks, but noooo, they have to let people sicken until they have to be hospitalized.
This is tantamount to murder. How do they live with themselves?
icu beds are a small fraction of hospital capacity, less than 10% of all beds in a hospital
Did they do anything to expand their capacity in the last year and a half? If not, why not? This was easily foreseeable and failing to plan and implement is gross dereliction of duty. Or worse.
Alabama as of 14 July 2021
Source: https://stacker.com/stories/4351/hospital-capacity-every-state
- Hospital capacity as of July 14:
-— Inpatient beds: 76.8% occupied (9,919 beds, #6 highest of all states)
-— ICU beds: 84.0% occupied (1,638 beds, #2 highest)
- Current COVID-19 hospitalizations as of July 23:
-— 1,547 patients hospitalized (31.8 per 100,000 people, #8 highest among all states)
- Total state COVID-19 counts as of July 23:
-— 74,212 cases (1,526 per 100,000 people, #11 highest)
-— 1,397 deaths (28.7 per 100k, #20 highest)
-— 619,527 tests (12,735 per 100k, #20 lowest)
-— 8,995 hospitalizations (184.9 per 100k)
The ICU capacity is such a scam. About 30 years ago, hospital administrators trying to squeeze out every dime of profit they could, started using statistical analysis to make sure ICU resources were not wasted. If ICU beds averaged only 50% full, they felt they were wasting money. Over time the capacity was decreased to such an extent it all but guarantees shortages at times of peak demand. This has been happening for years during flu season.
But how many are COVID patients? And how many are COVID patients with the vaxx?
Without basic information, this is just more fear porn.
How many speak English? Biden lets in 1.5 million diseased illegal aliens. Busses them or fly’s them into the states and then seem surprised when the numbers rise.
Ever hear of Monkeypox? Brought to you by 4 Nigerian illegals entering our country illelgally. Thanks Joe.
Yeh, thats what happens when people get sick and you don’t prescribe any thereputics. They get sicker and end up in the hospital. 🤔

Alabama has one of the lower vaccination rates, but I think it’s still over 50% of the adult population. And by now there should be many people with natural immunity. The Delta variant was supposed to be more contagious, but less virulent, requiring fewer hospitalizations. Something isn’t adding up.
To be honest, in some parts of Alabama....if you were bad off, your family would be taking you to Nashville or Knoxville. Quality of care is always a questionable thing.
Pandemic of the Vax’d.
ADE?
Those beds had better be super-sized if they are for COVID-19 patients. Moar clot shots!!
