TALIBAN AT YALE – AND HARVARD? ( Way back in 2006 )

‘Elite schools shamelessly educating the enemy.’

MAYBE Yale isn’t the only elite university with a “Taliban Man” problem.

Yale is taking flak for making a student out of an ex-Taliban spokesman. Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi once toured America defending the hideous regime that pulled out women’s fingernails for the “crime” of wearing nail polish. The Taliban also barred girls from school, banned women from working, stoned adulterers to death and used its soccer stadium for mass executions.

...

Yale has declined to admit Afghan women who were Taliban victims: It snubbed a request from the Initiative to Educate Afghan Women (IEAW.org), which brings Afghan women to U.S. colleges.

Conroy, the Yale spokesman, declined to say why Rahmatullah – whose formal education ended in fourth grade – was somehow more qualified or deserving than those women.

What about Harvard? You might think the college would be eager to deny Shaw’s charge – to insist that it would of course reject a student whose prime “qualification” was working for one of the most odious regimes on the face of the earth.

Wrong.

...

Harvard, like Yale, feels there’s nothing shameful about admitting a Taliban Man.

Also like Yale, Harvard hasn’t seen fit to admit one of the Afghan women. (Among those that have are Duke, Mt. Holyoke and New Jersey’s Montclair State University.)

The good news is that those 20 Afghan women are doing well at 10 colleges across America, even though the Ivy League couldn’t be bothered to admit them. All have averages of at least 3.5.

Taliban Man at Yale: University officials are embarrassed — but not embarrassed enough...

Are there no limits to how arrogant and out-of-touch America's Ivy League schools can get? Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi, former deputy foreign secretary of the Taliban, a student at Yale while at the same time the school continues to block ROTC training from its campus and argues for the right of its law school to exclude military recruiters. King George's troops played the music to "The World Turned Upside Down" as they surrendered at Yorktown. Perhaps the Ivy League should adopt that tune as they surrender all vestiges of common sense.

Yale's decision to admit Mr. Rahmatullah is particularly jarring given constant reminders of the Taliban's crimes — both past and present. as President Bush visited Afghanistan, its TV news aired fresh footage of beheaded bodies being paraded through a street. The men had been murdered because they opposed local Taliban and al Qaeda terrorists.

It's been more than half a century since William F. Buckley mocked the wooly-headed thinking he found at his alma mater in "G-d and Man at Yale." Now we have Mr. Taliban Man at Yale. If that doesn't cry out for mockery, nothing does

Does anyone want to bring up the ChiCom Man at nearly all American Universities? The Chinese have infested American instructions like a plague.

The Ivies are the root of the elites in American government, media, and other areas.

These “elites” have shown themselves for many, many years to be completely out of touch with reality, and the results speak for themselves, loudly, with events in Afghanistan.

It’s long past time to reject Ivy League elitism in government.

nothing new, they have been educating our enemies for over 100 years:

Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, who led the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941, was a special student at Harvard from 1919 to 1921.

In the 70s, my college was inundated with Iranians. They made it very clear they hated us and didn’t want to be here. Guess their daddies and the government (both) wanted them here. It was also clear they were to be given good grades whether they showed up for class or turned in a single paper. Being on the bell curve meant American student GPAs were shafted, again.

Biden’s handlers do not care about Americans.. They want to import moslem terrorists like Bill Ayers desired.

In No Place to Hide, Larry Grathwohl explained the process..

Never forget that Hussein Obama began his political career in the home of a (self admitted) domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn .. Bill Ayers estimated that 25 million Americans would have to be killed in re-education centers
