Why would anyone ask OPEC to release more oil and fill their coffers instead of releasing and filling our own??
Other than some monetary reward, which is guaranteed for the dems.. i would have to say... devils advocate. . Theirs is light, sweet, easier to refine... possibly save our oil after theirs runs dry. If it were someone ther than a dem i would say it could be tactical. Just food for thought.
