DeSantis has said parents should decide whether their children wear masks in school and banned school mask mandates in an executive order
The Biden administration this week offered federal financial support to Florida school districts defying Gov. Ron DeSantis’ ban on mask mandates as the coronavirus surges in the state, according to reports.
U.S. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona wrote in a letter to DeSantis and state Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran on Friday that defiant districts that lose state funding would have federal funds available to them, according to Politico.

DeSantis should have his .dept of .education send a bill to any district accepting those funds to recover the bribe money.

biden admin simply ignores Supreme Court rulings i.e., the eviction moratorium.
Simple, fire the educational bureaucrats who take the money. The rat teachers can go work for the feds.
I do not agree with Biden’s dictatorial actions here but DeSantis is doing b things no differently than Cuomo only from a different side. Here on Long Island parents publicly opposed Cuomo’s mask diktat. Local school boards refused to enforce it. Conservatives cheered. Now local school boards in Fla many with support of parents want to require masks in their district’s schools and the governor threatens sanctions. Two governors. Two states. Both wrong.

You "followed the science" all right, the old science of propaganda is leading you. Just how many masks has "the science" compelled you to buy?
Better yet de-certify any school district that mandates masks. Close the schools and provide education vouchers for the students. Advertise this well in Dvance and see how fast the counties comply. Where they don’t, close the schools and terminate the teachers. We also need to bust the teachers unions, but good, once and for all.

I'm aware some sources say that masks on children make little difference, but I believe they can be quite harmful, in that young children have more difficulty learning facial expressions if everybody is masked. Maybe you have heard different about the whole facial expressions problem, but as of right now, I believe that Cuomo is wrong, and DeSantis is right.
My dentist told me the masks are a disaster for your teeth and mostly gums and are useless .
