Vice President Bush was a good Vice President and a fairly good president even with his faults.
To reach all the way from Reagan to Liz Cheney and blame Reagan for Liz Cheney....that is ridiculous.
Not to mention most Freepers did not even have much of a problem with Liz Cheney when she first run for Congress.

Yep, I said the same thing. Blaming Reagan putting George H.W. Bush on the ticket in 1980 for Liz Cheney getting elected to Congress in 2016 is flat out ridiculous.
IMO, the self-appointed "Tea Party" leaders and national conservative pundits cheering on her carpetbagging from Virginia to Wyoming bear the brunt of the blame. I don't know if Mark Levin ever apologized for pimping her candidacy and telling us what a solid conservative "fighter" she would be.
Also, given the FACT that Dick Cheney had been Wyoming's only congressman for a decade, and rose to become the GOP Whip and also served as White House Chief of Staff, its entirely possible Princess Liz could have gotten elected to Congress in 2016 on daddy's famous name without Reagan OR either Bush ever becoming President. As I noted, Dick Cheney rose thru the ranks to become a powerful Washington insider during the Nixon & Ford eras.

As I said in another reply, hindsight is 20/20.
As I also said, that is more an expression of my disappointment with the Bushes, rather than blaming Reagan. I'm not the only one here who feels that way, am I?
