On July 26, 2021 residents of Front Royal, Winchester, and the broader Shenandoah Valley region appeared at the Front Royal Town Council meeting to express their outrage at Valley Health, which has a “monopoly” over the region’s hospitals and urgent care facilities, mandating the experimental coronavirus vaccine for employees.
Residents of the area, which has a heavily Catholic and conservative population – and is where LifeSite’s U.S. office is located – have warned that Valley Health may find itself severely understaffed if it fires all employees who refuse the dangerous injection.

I hate unions, but this is where a union would be useful. The union could organize a strike and that would essentially be the end of the mandate.

Yea right just like they did with teachers
Was Right to Work a mistake? Seems like this is happening everywhere where they pushed right to work a few years ago.
.....I’m not sure that it would be fair to state “Valley Health, which has a “monopoly” over the region’s hospitals and urgent care facilities,..... “ As in most states, there are many health care systems in Virginia, as the day of the independent, un-affiliated, free-standing hospital/medical centers has gone.... most hospitals in Virginia are now affiliated with one or another major health care system; to call them monopolies is not accurate....

You don't have to have a single monolith to have monopoly. What you need is a small number of entities that exert majority control over a market. Market diversity only happens when you have a fairly large number of competing entities. A monopoly has been declared when a given market has only three providers. This is why consolidation is so frowned upon by the keepers of the trust laws.

Just like the Catholic Church could liberate all its members from this, possibly even allowing an end to the mandate for all Evangelical Christians too, and make a significant statement on abortion, with one CLEAR UNAMBIGUOUS proclamation from the USCCB.
And monkeys might fly outta... yeah
