For those who don't know who he is, he is a conservative/alt-right author who has started several businesses to create alternatives to liberal products, including...

alt-right. I don't like that term. It's a made up term used by leftists to disparage conservatives.

alt-right

noun
noun: alt-right
  1. (in the US) a right-wing ideological movement characterized by a rejection of mainstream politics and by the use of online media to disseminate provocative content, often expressing opposition to racial, religious, or gender equality.

I don’t care if the left has highjacked the term. I think it’s useful.

Conservative is too broad a brush. I wouldn’t lump Vox Day (or myself, for that matter) in with the Mitch McConnell or Ben Shapiro even though they both would fall under the label “conservative”.

Trump would be an “alternative right” figure. He’s on the right, but he doesn’t fall in with the traditional conservative crowd.

If you’ve got a better term, I’d love to hear it.
