Lookie here....
A concerned citizen contacted the U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta, GA yesterday and spoke to multiple employees. When asked if the CDC was mandating its employees, The person on the CDC helpline responded with a NO, they are not mandating CDC employees be vaccinated.

I bet that changes soon. Or at least information provided to the public.

A lot of federal agencies have a large number of employees eligible for retirement.
A vax mandate would cause a brain drain of experienced folks—in the CDC and other agencies where technical skills and knowledge are needed.

they don’t want their useful loyal workers taking the death jab and dying within three years
theres too much future work they will have to do with 2/3 of the country wiped out

This proves less than nothing, someone asks a min wage call center person in another country, who then finds a possible script answer on his flip pad
Come on man, be better than that

I think you really need a walking tour of CDC HQ.
I do not like these folks, but most of the worker bees are definitely not from call centers in another country.
Most federal agencies have minimal contact with the general public and no foreign call centers.
Did I really have to tell you that?

The CDC staff are federal employees. All federal employees have to be vaccinated or get weekly testing. Biden stated that those who lie about their vaccination status will be FIRED AND JAILED (I”m a federal employee).

Not only are a large number eligible for retirement, a lot are sitting in one-deep positions overseeing contractors doing work.

FIRED AND JAILED
There is door number three--retirement.
Here are the eligibility numbers from 2020:
https://www.fedweek.com/fedweek/retirement-wave-eligibility-numbers-holding-steady/
What is important to note about these numbers is that the retirement eligible employees are most likely to work in "high skill" agencies where technical training is required and/or high skill/technical positions within other agencies.
These are folks who know how to fix problems in the real world on a day to day basis. In many cases their bosses do not have the technical skills to do their jobs.
A year from now the usual idiots will be saying "We never saw it coming."

Why would they it’s too dangerous

the mean side of me says, good. We need fresh faces actually capable of getting a mailing label right.
But the political side of me says, if the military is mandated then those entities deemed ‘essential’ should be mandated too. Then watch how many agencies, departments and categories of labor bail on the ‘essential’ label like it’s a hot potato.

I thought that also. Our company has a mandate coming. I am working my notice. Most people will not take a pay cut and move. They are complaining, but they are complying.

The federal government is a totally different situation from the private sector.
The federal retirement benefits combined with the federal version of the 401k (called TSP) make retiring early feasible for many feds.
The stock market is very high right now—I expect to see a bunch of federal employees running the numbers and figuring out that retirement will work for them.
