Unfortunately for the FR demographic, the new show wants to appeal to a much younger audience. Haven’t looked up ratings to see if it’s working.

I can take ‘em or leave ‘em.

I normally prefer listening to people speak quickly rather than slowly. It's just that those two guys seem to be in a competition as to who can cram in the most words during the show.

Also, their voices just sound very similar to my damned yankee ears. Same pacing, same intonations, etc.. The rapid back and forth just almost sounds like one guy talking, but spliced together to eliminate normal natural pauses, etc..

Smart guys, but I can take them only in small doses.

Younger and, almost by definition, shallower and more gullible.

But sufficient audience size is what will keep their show alive so ... whatever.

I prefer live broadcasts to podcasts.
