Come join Clay and Buck every weekday from noon to three eastern time. The show and it's hosts are "inspired by Limbaugh" to move forward and deliver a good show five days a week. Check your local listings because some IHeart stations replay portions of the show on the weekend.
I have tried to listen but always start yelling at the radio. They are off Rush’s message. I miss Rush something terrible.
Agreed.
Missing Rush, wishing for Steyn, and praying for the Republic.
Tatt
We all miss Rush. You are not alone.
I’ve listened a time or too.
To me, they aren’t delving deep into subject matter...just skimming the surface.
Too much talking without a break for a release of humor.
And if you have a duo on voices, their needs to be audible differentiation and I don’t hear it with these two.
Stern was much better and should have a show of his own. He has the talent to dive deep, keep you interested, but come up for a breath of fresh air using humor to deflect the insanity of the left.
Listening to my car playlist, ‘My City Was Gone’ always familiar music with an added meaning.
“the new show wants to appeal to a much younger audience”
Younger and, almost by definition, shallower and more gullible.
But sufficient audience size is what will keep their show alive so ... whatever.
I prefer live broadcasts to podcasts.
Exactly!
30+ year daily listener here (thanks to being self-employed) and miss his take, his pacing, his wit and wisdom. Even on his worst broadcast days he was still the best.
These two are un-listenable. Any of the four they had during the transition months would have been fine. Mark Steyn would have been perfect but I understood that he did not want to do a five-day-a-week show. Oh well...
Steven Crowder is the best of them, and thankfully he seems to be on the mend after his heart surgery, even though he said it was pretty dicey for awhile.
“Stern was much better and should have a show of his own”
Stein has his column which is much less burdensome than three hours a day. Also, he can review and tweak a column before publishing it.
He seemed to not mind being a once-in-a-while host.
Bongino
Like everybody else, I miss Rush. I find myself pulling up old shows on youtube just to hear his voice. I let my membership lapse at the 24/7. No one will ever step in and fill his shoes and that's what these new people did 'step in'. They may be just fine but I'm used to excellence and no one can hit it out of the park like Rush could.
Hard to believe we had him for 33 years; it went by in a flash. Anyway, if you haven't heard the 12 part series, I highly recommend it.
If that is weird, I am the weirdest weirdo on earth.
Here, one station went to Sexton & Travis, and one went with Dan Bongino. I listen to Bongino, and really like him. BUT, it is not the same ball game. I am half-tuned-in, easily distracted, couldn't name a sponsor, and so on.
It was a great 30 year run. RIP, Rush.
The problem is they are so serious all the time. It’s all doom and gloom. Rush always had a sense of humor, as does Mark Steyn. I can’t listen to nothing but negative stories and prognostications for 3 hours. It’s too depressing.
I get through around 10-15 minutes then it’s back to music.
Yeah, I can’t tell them apart either. They advertised two guys, but I only ever heard one and assumed one of them was on vacation or out sick! Oh well, at least I’ve regained three hours per average weekday.
