Companies and nonprofit organizations that receive PPP loans may have the loans forgiven if they meet certain criteria, including not laying off employees during the defined period covered by the loan. Applicants must attest in their application that the loans are necessary for their continuing operation. Note: This data reflects loan applications approved by banks and submitted to the SBA. It may not account for money not distributed to, or credit not used by, a given company.
If you are a representative of this company and believe this record is in error, use this form to let the SBA know.

At the same time, you may want to see what public records exist about compensation of the top 5 employees, or whatever number is required to be reported. "Non-Profit" is becoming a great refuge for really high salaries, with no taxes paid on the accumulated endowments, and the payrolls for larger groups seem to collect a lot of high wage numbers.
Dunno, $10M for 500 employees at that branch comes out to $20K per person. Considering that the PPP was supposed to cover the entire lockdown period, it seems reasonable.
Good points. That $10 million for 500 employees works out to $20K per employee. Wait til another $6T gets passed. Lots more scamming
Simple math in this case says that the $10M distributed over 200 employees is $20K per person. How is this ‘high wages’ over the entire nearly year lockdown period in Minnesota?
With 500, that’s $20k per employee. If to cover 3 months, that’s $80k in average salary.
What looks suspicious to you?
Google Omaha Goodwill CEO Frank McGree. He resigned in 2016 when his lavish salary was exposed. McGree and his eight top managers received over $1.8 million in compensation in 2017. Ten top executives in Omaha make more than $100,000.
The average Goodwill store employee makes $11-$13 dollars per hour.
Ever see all those American clothes worn in 3rd world countries ? Goodwill washed and hand picked those from donated clothes and sold those overseas.
See post #8 in reference to the high wages.
$13 per hour is $25,350 per year. To return to the original posting, that is more than the $20K per person that this Goodwill branch got in PPP loans in a state that was locked down for more than a year.
As for the rest of your post -
Each Goodwill branch is run pretty much autonomously. Some are run better than others.
Those clothes being sold in 3rd world nations are ones that didn’t/wouldn’t sell here. Keep in mind that American shoppers increasingly will NOT buy used clothes from Goodwill or other charity shops.
See post 10 and prior for the actual math - and information on how Goodwill is run. If you check, Goodwill’s spending about 89% of their income on charity services.
First of all - a Good Will store has 500 full time employees ?!?!? And the application was made out for the maximum number of employees to receive a loan. Look at the data base - this loan request far exceeds others in the data base
Good points
That’s not just one store, though. They apparently have 48 stores plus additional services and they’re doing combined operations with Easter Seals.

500 employees divided by 48 stores is math I’m sure you can do. :P
