Jason Kenney says he won't 'take lectures' from federal health minister on Alberta's COVID plan

“We’re not going to … take lectures from Minister Hajdu, particularly when it appears that she and her boss (Prime Minister) Justin Trudeau are hell-bent on a federal election campaign,” Kenney said Friday at a news conference in Bowden, Alta., about drought support for farmers.

“If they really are that concerned about COVID, then why is she getting ready to put up campaign signs?”

Kenney went on to describe Hajdu’s letter as a political ploy and criticized her handling of COVID-19 in the early days of the pandemic.

He said the federal government should respect the advice of Alberta’s top doctor, as his government does....

Businessman Rob Sproule attended the protest with his wife and children. He said he is gravely concerned about a fourth COVID-19 wave.

“No other jurisdiction has gone this far. Dropping restrictions is one thing. You don’t have to take it one step further and treat COVID like it’s the cold. It’s not a cold,” said Sproule.

As concerns mount, so are cases in Alberta. Thursday marked the single highest daily case count since July 1 with 397 new infections. There were another 369 cases Friday, and 11 new hospitalizations....

Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, has said the modelling looked at transmission and severe outcomes related to the highly contagious Delta variant.

Hinshaw said the modelling suggests cases will rise for a month but will have a limited impact on the province’s acute care system.

Chris Bourdeau, a spokesman for Alberta Health, said in a statement that Hinshaw’s decisions are based on “thorough medical analysis, using the best data available from Alberta and around the world.”

Bourdeau said Hinshaw will release some data next week, but did not clarify if the internal modelling will be included....

Canadian Press (CP) is our version of AP, and just as left-wing

So the article places a heavy focus on weepy citizens concerned that now they're being left to day by the heartless right-wing Government of Allberta, just because it's going to stop testing

Notice how CP deliberately leaves out any mention that deaths are way down - that's why they won't mention it - or the fact that 11 hospitalizations is really small for a Province with 4 million people.

And the Trudeau Liberals, supposedly so concerned with our health, now insists on running a federal re-election campaign in the middle of what THEY describe as a "deadly 4th wave of Covid" ... so it's hard to believe anything they say

At least Alberta has a plan for moving forward ... and that drives the virus-exploiters nuts!!

Cases cases with a fraudulent PCR test that the CDC and FDA here in the US are pulling because they can’t differentiate between flu and covid. Nor were they designed to.

PCR test can only detect the anti-bodies, so it can’t tell the difference between someone who actually has the live virus in them, right now, and someone whose body is reacting to having-had-and-beaten Covid a year ago

so it’s not really that useful ... except for scare-mongering journalists who love to keep reciting “rising case numbers”

That’s the beauty with Alberta’s plan .... after Aug. 16, all the mass-testing-centers are closed, so journalists will be forced to use REAL ststs again - deaths and hospitalizations, both of which are low & stable, and have been for awhile

BTW the same thing is happening in other Heath jurisdictions across North America, but Big Media refuses to report that, preferring to keep the fear going with their ever-obsessive focus on “cases”

Comrade Kenney trying to get his credibility back after locking down the province, locking up the churches and jailing the pastors.

The future good news is: Most of those infected by the Delta Variant will have a longtime immunity from Covid now and in the future.

........thanks to marxist Trudeau’s “non essential travel ban” I’ve not been able to tow my boat through Alberta this year to get to Alaska. This moronic regulation is bound to be prohibiting tens of thousands of visitors traveling through Alberta and robbing Alberta businesses of tens of millions of revenue.

I’m hoping Alberta sticks to its guns. Many think Alberta and other western provinces should just secede from marxist eastern Canada.
