Doctors on the industry networking site Doximity are finding their news feed inundated with anti-vaccine comments from fellow physicians.

AND . . . .
"Doximity, which has long described itself as LinkedIn for doctors, held its stock market debut in June and rocketed up to a $10 billion market cap."
10 BILLION DOLLARS
Adding to the excitement:
“Doximity is not an open social network: To join, users must be practicing U.S. health-care professionals. The company verifies members by photo identification of a medical license, a hospital badge, emails from medical institutions and through challenge questions, among other methods.”
Veiled threat to reign in dissenters?
“For Doximity, which stayed largely under the radar prior to its IPO, medical misinformation presents a distinct challenge as the San Francisco-based company seeks to grow its user base and remain a source for high-quality reliable data while also navigating the tricky waters of content moderation.”
“Doximity is scheduled to report quarterly earnings next week for the first time since going public, following a year of 77% revenue growth. The company has been profitable each of the last three years by keeping down operating costs.”
So it sounds like doctors are getting tired of being part of the Covid scam huh. Good to know.
I’m guessing this does not include content from Infowars. YET!
“One added draw is that users can earn continuing medical education credits by reading certain eligible articles.”
Remember: If a medical professional, or anyone else, is very careful and wants to weigh the facts before taking or prescribing an experimental vaccine, they are dispensing disinformation and must die die die!
Real doctors not that fake sh&t posing as doctors in here.
Makes you wonder what physicians know that some hack for CNBC doesn’t.
The social network for doctors is full of vaccine disinformation
CNBC means that this social network is the place with most information.
MY doctor could be one those posting “misinformation”. He said to me just last month that 50% of the doctors in his network think the “vaccine” is a fraud. In private. The management of the network is pushing it relentlessly.
Are anti-vaccine comments from fellow physicians “mis-information”?
I know exactly who you are talking about. 🙂
NBC “News” sites are full of disinformation about a wide range of topics.
Fixed the headline.
Yup—This is “top down” propaganda at its most blatant.
The North Koreans are more subtle.
“Are anti-vaccine comments from fellow physicians “mis-information”?”
*****
That’s exactly what they are saying. They do not allow users to post stories, the company posts stories. Users posts comments, the comments are the problem.
Good lord - read the article. Once you parse through their propaganda the actual posts they cite as misinformation. Is actually factual information that’s counter the narrative.
Note also it’s the “psychologist” who’s the whistle blower - not an actual “medical doctor”
A doc on Ann Barnhardt’s podcast said a couple weeks ago that nearly all the docs on this social media feed were ready to stop treating the unvaxxed
Comcast says people are lying... that’s #ing rich!!!
GTH, Comcast
“Yup—This is “top down” propaganda at its most blatant.”

I’m always wondering where stories like these originate.
Something tells me Mr. Levy didn’t hear something about the dr social media site and do some investigating on his own volition.
My guess is someone at the NIH called someone at CNBC after their direct and discreet attempts to influence Doximity were rebuffed, and it was timed just before earnings release so that the press can hammer away at the execs on the earnings call.
That’s exactly what they are saying. They do not allow users to post stories, the company posts stories. Users posts comments, the comments are the problem.
It’s interesting that we can say with no exaggeration that the United States has a Soviet style press.
It’s adapted to the history of the country and incorporates some competition.
