Baltimore, Maryland, is ushering in an indoor mask mandate months after Gov. Larry Hogan (R) lifted the statewide requirement.
The order goes into effect Monday and applies to both the vaccinated and unvaccinated.
“This pandemic is not over and we must all do our due diligence to protect ourselves and our neighbors,” Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott (D) said this week.
“While we know that masking is a sure way to slow the spread of COVID-19, we cannot stress enough the importance and urgency of getting vaccinated so that we can beat COVID-19 for good,” he added, explaining that the number of cases has jumped 374 percent in the last month.

A cop friend told me that the chief had fired a bunch of command staff for some criminal activity within the department. But since they are friends of Brandon’s, guess what, They are back in the department and promoted to higher command posts.

Well I am inclined to agree that people will continue to die if jabs do not rise. But am just as inclined to think people will continue to die if jabs don’t rise. There is no live forever break through I am aware of.

The first time I heard Brandon Scott speak was on my car radio during the mayoral campaign. I had missed the introduction, so I didn't know who the speaker was. I struggled to make sense of what I was hearing said, thinking, "Who is this? A special ed student they're interviewing?"
Imagine my horror at hearing it was the leading mayoral candidate.
According to the Baltimore Sun, there were 26 homicides in Baltimore over the past 30 days while usafacts.org lists only 14 covid deaths over the same period. But by all means, Mr. Mayor, go for that mask mandate. You jackwagon.

It is critical to understand that a rapid decline in viral infectivity rates that is not achieved by natural infection but merely results from expedited mass vaccination campaigns will only delay abrupt propagation of emerging, fully vaccine-resistant viral variants and hence, only delay the occurrence of a high wave of morbidity and mortality.
