“Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) says her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, is “deeply troubled” by the current Republican Party that has steered away from her family’s brand of neoconservatism toward a populist-nationalist vision.
During an Aspen Institute panel discussion alongside former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Cheney said her father is displeased with the state of the Republican Party following former President Trump’s term in the White House.”

Liz, read the room. Almost nobody cares what Dick Cheney thinks anymore. He and you remain locked into that view of America as the Police of the World. Well, the majority have had enough of that. Enough of fighting endless wars just to sell the weaponry.
I’m sorry to say, Lol, I was FOR Dick Cheney before I was against him. And, my opinion of his daughter is that she is more detestable than he has become. The Cheney’s relations with Halliburton and the oil industry generally should have a special prosecutor assigned to them. They remind me of LBJ’s relationship with Brown & Root in Vietnam as well as Halliburton. The Cheney’s, the Bush’s and the Johnson’s all stink to high heaven.
Lord knows he did his damnedest to get into a major war. From a house rep, to Sec Def to VP. They’re many more stories about the Bush’s, Cheney’s, Clinton’s & Obama’s that are waiting to be told. But security clearances and threats to family have prevented it... so far.
