“ I Feel Safe When There Are No Police”
Is the proper response to have no police so the child feels safe, or to correct the child’s feelings about crime and the police?
I live in Fairfax County, so I know what the whiny losers in the school system will say, and it isn’t “Don’t do the crime if you don’t have the time.”
I feel safe when there are no Democrats around.

When the police disappear, martial law is inevitable.
Out after curfew? no problem... have a bullet.
To be fair, Fairfax County police are pretty awful all around. They’ve made the national news a few times with their corruption and blatant murder.
I live in Northern VA and I hate driving through Fairfax because of the police and traffic.
In some cases, I do too.
When I was a student at Pine Spring Elementary in the 1950s the police were the good guys that helped you if you got lost.
The truant officers not so much cause then you wanted to get lost.
This is simple to handle.
Beat the teacher to a pulp in the street.
“Who you gonna call? Ghost Busters?”
Once a very conservative, even farming county but got infiltrated by rich white liberals over the decades (since the 60’s when I lived there). They crapped up the place with their politics and elected a Soros-funded ($500,000+) District Attorney (Descano, who is under a recall movement now. He’s a hardcore Marxist and anti-police).
Also Reston was built as a stand-alone city in the county (like Columbia was in Maryland) and when Section 8 housing went in, it became a 2nd rate area in some places).
Hispanic drug gangs including MS13 are there, using it as a drug-distribution center for northern Virginia and possibly neighboring Maryland/DC. Also, part of it is located right below Alexandria City, Va. and Hispanic gangs seem to have set up satellite operations down there. Those parts of Alexandria/Fairfax are a 3rd world country all by themselves, though there are some very nice people of all backgrounds still living there, but crime is a serious problem and not getting better.
Physically, Fairfax and adjoining (to the west) Loudon were once mainly rural, horse and farming counties. Today a lot of the land has been paved over, destroying horse farms, meadows (a great loss for butterflies/moths and birds), with major road arteries creating traffic jams, some smog, and trash.
Don’t know about their police. Didn’t have much contact with them. Didn’t need to back then.
We have truly jumped the shark with these commie teachers.
If you kids in a public school, then get them out of their ASAP.
When I was a little boy in public school I recall on occasion we had police and fireman come to our school. Usually once a year to talk to us their police car or fire truck. Maybe answer a few questions. Those were the good old days.
